One of the most recent additions to our staff, Doc has been involved in the DJ business since the early 80’s and brings a wealth of talent, experience, diversity and knowledge to our staff. For many years Doc has run his own DJ service successfully and has brought his talent and versatility to our team recently. The addition of Doc to our staff means we can now serve a much more diverse clientele. Doc’s knowledge of music ranges from Jazz to Gospel, Motown to R&B and Hip-Hop, Latin and any other category you can think of. Doc’s tremendous attention to detail and customer service promotes a positive planning experience for all of our clients and practically guarantees a packed dance floor. You can’t download talent or experience and Doc has both!

Known for his remixes of the classics and his club style DJing. Most of his customers keep coming back for his style of music. “I keep the dance floor packed with my unique mixture of R&B, Hip-Hop, and House. I love to mix in some R&B classics and Motown to keep everyone dancing.”

Forest “DJ Doc” Collins performed at his first party in 1979 at the age of 14. “It was here that I learned it was more fun with an audience than making tapes at home”. As the years went on, he refined his skills and grew in popularity. In addition to all of the weddings, family reunions, and birthday parties he has performed at, he has also DJ’d at countless colleges, worked for 4 years in one of New York’s hottest clubs, created on-air mixes and made public mixing appearances for WBLS in NY, and also supplied sound systems for a list of singers and performers.
